Man questioned in McDonald Chapel shooting
MCDONALD CHAPEL, AL (WBRC)- Jefferson County deputies interviewed a man Friday morning in connection with an overnight shooting in the McDonald Chapel area.
Deputies said a man suffering from a gunshot wound was driven to Princeton Hospital around 2 a.m. Friday. A witness spoke with a deputy about the incident at the emergency room, saying the shooting happened in the 5600 block of Norway Ave.
Investigators told FOX6 News they are now interviewing a suspect.
The victim was transferred to UAB Hospital where he was in surgery Friday morning.
